Who We Are
CancerSisters is a Florida nonprofit corporation building a supportive community for women navigating breast cancer.
We believe no woman should have to make sense of a , prepare for a difficult appointment, or carry the emotional weight of breast cancer alone.
Who We Serve
Our work centers women from diagnosis through treatment, recovery, survivorship, , and living with disease. Families and caregivers are part of the support system, but women navigating breast cancer are the reason CancerSisters exists.
What We Do
We create practical, plain-language guidance for common moments in breast cancer care. Your Path organizes information around where someone is in the experience. Encounters help women prepare for appointments, procedures, treatment days, and difficult conversations. Lingo explains medical and care terms without assuming prior knowledge.
Alongside those resources, CancerSisters creates space for peer stories, discussion, and connection. We do not replace a medical team. We help women arrive more prepared, ask better questions, and feel less isolated.
Why We Are Here
Breast cancer affects more than the body. It can change work, finances, family roles, relationships, identity, and plans for the future. Reliable information matters, but so does hearing from someone who understands the uncertainty between appointments and the effort it takes to keep moving through daily life.
CancerSisters brings those forms of support together: evidence-aligned information, practical preparation, and compassionate community.
