Porcine ADM (Pig-Derived Matrix)

is an acellular dermal matrix made from pig tissue, processed so only structural collagen scaffold remains. In reconstruction, it is often used to support implants or expanders.

You may hear brand names in appointments, but the everyday idea is simple: this is one of the support materials surgeons can use to shape and stabilize reconstruction.
