Cancer affects the rhythm of an entire household. Emotional strain, caregiving demands, treatment schedules, and everyday chores can pile up quickly. Families need support that recognizes the whole picture.
What We Are Building
The Family Wellness program will focus on connecting sisters and their families with mental health, wellness, and practical support. We are working toward a network that can respond to both emotional needs and the everyday tasks that become harder during treatment.
The program may include:
- Connections to mental health and wellness providers.
- Support networks for children, spouses, partners, and caregivers.
- Free practical services such as home cleaning, laundry help, and grocery delivery.
- Childcare, family activity, and caregiver-relief resources.
- Date-night or family-time gifts that create room for connection outside of cancer.
- Guidance for families adjusting roles, routines, and communication during treatment.
Specific services will depend on funding, location, provider availability, and community partnerships.
